Does anyone know the BT and Telewest Test numbers.
Just need to find out the number I am dialling from but I believe the line has caller ID blocked.

Thanks in Advance

John

Hi,

You could prefix the you mobile number with 141, you'll get cli then

Matt

thanks, this sould do the trick,
But I thought there was a BT number that would read the number back to you.

Thanks in Advance

There is a number, but what it is I can't remember (if I ever knew)

take care

>BT use 17070
Hmm, It says "there was no CLI detected for this line"

I have my CLI suppressed!

take care

And if you go through the auto attendant (I think its option 3) you could get a "worbble test" on an analogue line. So if the NTTP is not clearly label, it doesnt matter.

We have our CLI surpressed at the BT exchange and nothing we do can unsurpress it. Not sure about telewest as we are out in the wilds where cable is something that runs between two poles.
