I have been told that I cannot run terminal services on Server 2000 and have 2003 as my AD/Data/Exchange Server. Wondering why?

Unless I am missing something I can not see why not. Possible the reference was to running TS on a DC which is definitely not a good idea due to security concerns (users logging on locally to a DC is a high security risk). Running TS for admin purposes, limit 2 user for free, does not present a problem, on either server.

Ya you dont want to run it on the master dc or any dc for that matter unless it is dedicated to TS.

And you can't run it on Small Business Server.
