Hi,

we have an application we want our customers to use through a terminal services session.

Is there a way we can hide the server disks so that the user only sees his own disks (if shared)? (Especially when loading/saving files..)

If this is not possible, how can we make sure the end user does not do anything harmfull to the system?

We'r using Win2K3 with SP1, an application is started on logon (through TS), and the session is closed after the application is finished. No other GUI elements are available (taskbar etc)

Tnx!

As long as the users are not given any rights on the box, I think you will be fine.

Hi,

You can do this very easily, by using Group Policies.

In a GPO, you can find it under User Configuration - Administrative Templates - Windows Components - Windows Explorer - Hide these specified drives in My Computer.

The users will no longer "see" the drives you've entered, but still will be able to use them.

This should give you the functionality you want!

Greetz,
