Good day,
Our company uses an outdated old, crappy program that needs to utilize lpt1 and lpt2 printing with an HP Laserjet 4 driver.
I've directly set up an lpt1 printer to do just this on our Terminal server.
However, when I log in as a client and net use to change the port to the printer location of my choice, any job sent through the printer goes to the default net mapping for the administrator account on the server itself.
For example:
Under the administrator not connected through a client it is set up for:
Net use lpt1 \\servername\printeradmin
on the client terminal services login, I'm using:
Net use lpt1 \\servername\printerclient
Now, DOS based printing works to the client net use, however the laserjet 4 (actual windows installed printer) using lpt1 prints to the administrator net use.
Please help, let me know what I am doing wrong.
Thank you!
James
