I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to remove computers from the TS Licensing Snap/In that are no longer used any longer? We have run out of licenses for this reason and all of the machines are issued temporary licenses. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,

STF

You have to deactivate the TS License server and reactivate it with Microsoft.

Before you do that, what service pack are you running. Beginning with SP3 on Windows 2000, terminal server licenses will expire after a period of 52-89 days.

Because temporary licenses are issued for 90 days, there shouldn't be any issues with clients getting permanent licenses once the issued ones expire and return to the pool
