Hi,

Any ideas how I can get a normal user connecting to a Win2k Terminal Server in Application mode to get the clock in the bottom right hand corner? When I log in as Admin I get it fine but not anything else....

{Tell a lie I managed to do it on one account but cant for the life of me recreate it!!!! :) }

Cheers All, I need this sorting BAD!

What if you right mouse on the taskbar and go to properties, and check show clock. Gia Betiu

No such option. We have locked down many things through Group Policy though. But I have the understanding that as a default it doesnt show it under Terminal Services anyways?

We had this problem as well.

The way we got around it was to enable users to right click the task bar in GP temporarily allowing them to turn their clock on, then disabling it afterwards. Not the best soloution but as we only have about 20 users it worked ok. Dont know if this will be of any help!

yeah thats what im thinking im going to have to do - im running a registry tracker for a before and after snapshot when applied with and without the setting so I can apply it on the terminal services registry settings for that user.

Thanks for your reply - first person thats replied to this post saying they've had the same problem !! :)
