Hi,

This is probably going to be a simple question for anybody that knows Terminal Services but a newcomer like me has no idea whatsoever. The problem is....

When trying to stop/start the Terminal Services, service from a thin client their is no option whatsoever. The icons are greyed out and right clicking the service just allows you to refresh.

Any ideas

Thanks

Brendan

Hi Brendan,

Should you be trying to stop Terminal Services from a Thin Client? This would kill your session with no way of getting back in without going to the console! I do not think that you can stop this service from the console either! The only way you might be able to do this, without rebooting the server, is to run a command prompt and issue the net stop/start command to stop and restart the service. I have not tried this myself as I am on a production server. :)

Hope this helps.

Paul

Hi Paul,

Yes I know it was a bit of a daft question. Thanks for your response. Now I know.

Cheers
