does anyone know how to increase the session on the terminal service, or do i have to buy extra license or....
(ex. assume Computer A has Terminal Service installed, then i want more than 2 poeple can access to it or called session, so let say Person a connected to the Computer a and Person B connected to Computer A, the person C can;t connect it coz the session only has 2 session, so i need to have more session does anyone know how to add it please urgent)

windows 2000 server

How do you have it set up? Are they logging in as Administrator or with admin rights?

well logging using administrator
and also tell me what is the different between those 2
anyway
but as far as i know now , we logging using administrator
not different user with admin rights

Try using tightvnc. It's free, and allows more than one person to access the same server/client, at the same time.

Good luck.

If your users are loging on as administrator....you will only get two logon accounts because you Terminal Server is configured in "Remote Administration" mode. To allow users to logon with thier own accounts, you will have to give the users accounts "Domain Administrator" rights or you can configure Terminal Server to "Application" mode. Application mode is the correct way to configure this because you don't want your users to have Admin rights on the domain.

try this link

good luck

hi so what you mean that if i give user admin rights we can access more than 2 session that terminal service has.
the problem is i need more than 2 poeple login as the same time
i dont want to use any third party software like citrix or vnc pcanywhere, i need terminal service, coz vnc and pc anywhere is a console , i want TS, so plesae tell me more detail
do i need to give user rights so they can be able to access it even there are 2 poeple already connected as administrator.
so please tell me thankz

You can NOT get more that 2 copnnections in "Administrative" mode. If you want MORE than two connections, you must configure Terminal Server to "Application" mode. See the link I entered above

Depending on your licensing arrangements, you will either have to activate or purchase licences for the "Application" mode. Once you are in app mode, you will have to contact Microsoft to set that all up. Bring a cup of coffee and a good book for the wait.
Next, you will NEED to configure this properly. When you have app mode, it is a VERY different kind of connection, with all kinds of restrictions. Basically, you will find yourself experimenting a lot. I would suggest you try it out yourself with a test user prior to allowing any user to logon, or it will make it 10 times harder. Check out the policies for these TS users in group poliicy setup.
Good luck!

Once again, look into tightvnc. It's free and works great. Good luck.
