Hi all...

Thanks once again for the help...Quick question about the Session numbers for a Terminal service client...When a client connects he is assigned a RDP-TCP#...Is this number supposed to always increase and never return to 0?...Right now I'm on 62, will this number just continue to increase?...Is this usual, or are connections not being released correctly?

Thanks! AJ

I've never seen it reduce without a re-boot of the server. I've never had it cause any problem either.

I don't know for sure, but I'd guess that it is a total count of all TS sessions through the booted time of the TS Server. It looks about right in all four of my cases. Ian

"IF" is not a word it's a way of life

Thanks Ian...Guess I just wont worry about it...Was just curious...I haven't rebooted it in awhile, so maybe I'll give that a try and see if the count resets... AJ
