We have 4 W2K server, virtualized servers that most of our users go through to run various applications. The users are at a remote site, the servers are here in our corporate office. They constantly complain about being disconnected from terminal server while they're working. They can be working along and all the sudden they are interrupted and the logon screen pops up.

I'm not part of our windows admin team, I work mainly with unix. I'm just curious as to what could cause this type of interruption or how I could find the issue myself?

I have noticed that a couple of the servers seem to have high CPU & Memory usage.

For a starter, the MTU setting should be correctly set for your broadband lines at the routers at all endpoints. Check the MTU from the main office outbound, and from each remote site in bound.
"Tcp Optimizer" has an MTU test module

Has anyone ever used Network Uptime Tracker to monitor uptime of the network?

Or is there a way to tell what time a switch was last rebooted?
