Hi All,
I have a strange issue with our Terminal Server. We have a Terminal Server setup on a Windows Server 2003 R2 box. I have set it up with a group policy that will automatically disconnect idle sessions after 30 mins and End a disconnected session after 1 hour. This policy works fine for most people.
We have one user that has quite a flakey internet connection and therefore her VPN does drop out frequently. But for whatever reason, when her connection drops out for a split second, the terminal server has already logged her off. The drop out will generally be only for 1 minute or so, but her session will be logged off and all unsaved work is lost.
This has now become frustrating for the user and I am at a complete loss as to how I can troubleshoot what the issue could be.
Can anyone offer any suggestions as to what the problem maybe, or how I can troubleshoot to find the cause?
