HI,
We currently have two servers at work, one a windows 2000 server, and one a windows 2003 server. currently we connect to the internet through a diva 2440 adsl router which has all the correct ports for terminal server forwarded to the 2k server, we now want to change this so that the 2003 server will become the terminal server, but after we have forwarded the ports to the 2003 server, the clients can not longer connect. both our servers are on our internal network with static ip addresses, (192.168.9.1 2k) (192.168.9.2 2k3) and our external ip address is also a static one, can someone please help, as we have trying to this working all day and still no joy. The 2000 machine machine is running in admin mode, and the 2k3 machine in apps mode, with a licencing server and ts cals. Hope someone can shed some light on this, or maybe there are some settings we have over looked????

Thanks
Mick.

Can you connect to the 2003 terminal server from within your offices?

OK that means it is a router issue, rather than the 2K3 server configuration itself. I would go into the router configuration and check that all incoming requests to the correct port (3389 for RDP) is forwarded to the correct IP.
