we have a building that is having issues with about a dozen of the 40 total users being kicked out of terminal server client randomly throughout the day. No pings are being lost to those users, so we don't think it's a switch or network issue. It's consistently the same users though, and it could be during active session or after they have inactive for 5 minutes or 40 minutes. It doesn't seem to be a pattern of inactivity. Any thoughts?

do you have any load balancers in the mix? A session refresh could hop from one to the other if you do and lose that connection. Are the Termianl Servers on any kind of clustering? NLB?

No load balancing or clustering. They are virtualized servers though.

Did you check the logs in the virtual server and host?

I know that they've checked the event logs on each terminal server but they don't show anything abnormal. I would hope that the admins have checked the logs on the host server as well, I will ask though, thanks.
