Hello,

I am using Remote Desktop for PC on a Windows 2000 Pro computer with Service pack 4 and latest update to connect to a Windows 2000 server with Service pack 4 and latest patch also.

The terminal server is configured in application mode and when i connect to it it gives me all my shared from the network but i cannot see the local hard disk of my client machine even when i select the option on Remote Desktop.

I am getting an Event ID 1103 An internal communication error occurred. Redirected printing will no longer function.

This is pretty much the info i found so far.

Anyone have an idea what could cause this ?

In active directory look at the properties of the user and then environment. Look at the bootom and make sure you have client drive connect enabled.

else

Open terminal services and look at the properties for the RDP connection and then environmets. Here you can disable and enable client drive connections

else

Did you check the policy's on the server? Perhaps there is something disabled.

Hope this helps

at the second point at terminal server configuration i mean client settings not environment

I will check the policies and let you know.
