Hi,

Trying to create a local account on a Windows2000 server, we are hosting an application and the user has to log on locally thru RDP to admin that application. When I log on with that account, I cannot log onto the server unless that account is in the local admin group. Is there anyway around this? I dont' want to give this account local admin rights on the box.

thanks in advance,

Sounds like you only have your box running in Admin mode. Change to Application Sharing Mode and install TS Licensing.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark

Yes, it's a webserver that has an app running on it, and the HR dept needs to login to admin the app, so they will not be admins on the box.
