We have some remote users that use the VPN to connect to the network. The use the standard Windows VPN connection setup. The question I have though, is it possible to use terminal services to connect to the machine that is connected to our network through the VPN? I need to make some changes to these machines and I can't seem to connected with terminal services even though it is enabled. Has anybody found a way to remote control a machine that is connected to the VPN? I would love any suggestions.

Maybe a permissions issue on remote machine. Get them to install RealVNC and use that to connect.
Then you can trouble-shoot the TS/RDP connection. Perhaps the remote client firewall is blocking Terminal Services / Remote Desktop connections.....?

I couldn't telnet into it so it could be the firewall. Thanks for the advice, I'll have them install VNC and I'll connect that way.
