I am relatively new to the RS/6000 is it possible to directly connect a WYSE 60 terminal to the 64 port Async Controller on the RS/6000 and if so what is the pin out. Thanks in advance for any help.

I am assuming you have standard IBM RJ45 to 25-way D type interface cables. If so, this is what works for us :

1 - cable shield - 1
2 - txd - 3
3 - rxd - 2
4 - rts - 5
5 - cts - 4
6 - dsr - 20
7 - gnd - 7
8 - cd - 20
20 - dtr - 6 and 8

If you don't have std IBM cables then I have details of them as well if required.

Regards,

Robinz

You are talking about the 64 Adapter.....with the 16 port concentrators? Yes
they still work.... Here is what I have on file for them....not sure it helps...but good luck
