I am looking to see what system would be better in a tenanting situation. An office rents out offices for several other companies. The reception needs to answer with the correct company greeting and transfer the calls to the appropriate company. We would also like the voicemail to be tenanted to not allow people to here the other companies employees in the directory. I have already spoken with Mitel engineering and gotten some feedback from them but would like someone that has done this sort of thing before.

I know nothing about the 5K - always thought of it as a modern-day square key system. 3300 does tenanting elegantly.

Don't know the 5000. I would think you would need seperate line groups for each customer if you want seperate phone books. One point the 3300 phone book can't be segmented i.e all companies see the complete phone book.

The single biggest problem with communications is the illusion that it has taken place.
