We are having some troubles with Citrix Nfuse when launching applications. Here's what we have:
We have a custom web site built around NFuse and Columbia. We just migrated to a new site with new directory structure. The old site had all the Nfuse files in the webroot / directory (login.asp, applist.asp, frameset.asp, etc...) and it worked fine. When we migrated to the new site in which all the NFuse stuff was put into a subdirectory /login the problems started happening. When you launch certain applications, it will dump temp files on your desktop.

It does this only on the new site. Launching applications from the old site was not generating these files.

The files all have the .BV0, .BV1, .BVx extensions.

We are running Win2K Server SP3, Metaframe XPe 1.0 FR2, NFuse 1.6.1 with Columbia. Any ideas?

We finally found out the cause of the problem.

First thing, upon developing the new site, they did not get a fresh copy of all of the Nfuse files. So they were using the old outdated files when developing the new site.

The template file is called template.ica and contains many configuration settings which assist in the dynamic creation of the Nfuse icons.

A setting Called “PersistentCacheEnabled=” was set to on. I have changed the setting to OFF and have not been able to recreate the problem here at my desk.

In case anybody runs into this problem in the future.
