Hi
I am experiencing a problem related to SMS Backup and SQL security.
The SQL Server service runs under a standard user account on the primary site server.
I have an issue with the fact that I need to grant modify access to this user account at the C:\ level in order to run the SMS Backup feature.
I noticed that SQL creates a temporary file when the DB data is saved. Then this temp file is moved to the normal directory structure C:\SMSBKUP.
The problem is that we don't want to add this modify access right on the root drive.
I did not find how to tell SQL not to put the temp file in the root C:\
Anyone has any clue?
Best regards
Michel
