Templates

I have downloaded some templates for access from the Mocrosoft templates. When I go to use them the message
"These are read only, you cannot save any files". Why is this? I thought that you can use the templates. Also, how do I delete the info in the templates that is already in the template.

In general, if templates were not read-only, the template would not exist for very long...

- If I donwload a template for microsoft Access, i can use it and change it... without giving me an error message

Another strategy may involve:
- You can copy the file, give it another name and set the file properties.
-Another way to use the template is to create a new database and import the tables, form and other controls from the template into you database
