Hi all,

i've got one question:

i published a *.rpt template on a BOE XI Server.
I created various scheduled instances on this very template differing in parametervalues and destinations (one instance by mail, others sent by FTP).

Now:
Tiny little changes in the Layout (static texts or logos) are to be made. DB-Login infos and parameters stay the same.
So I use the Developer to do the changes.
How can I publish the modifies rpt template to the server, without reconfiguring the scheduled instances?
Is it possible? Is it not possible?

I.m.h.o. it would be a failure if this is not possible.

thx
Ulli

If I understand what you're asking, you just need to use File > Save As to save to Enterprise. This will allow you to overwrite the report on the Enterprise server.

If all you've changed is layout then you won't need to reschedule the existing reports. However, you may need to re-enter the database password if you didn't deselect "Default Database Logon Information" under the Refresh Options when you uploaded the report.

gortuk,

that was the hint i was looking for!!

thankful regards :)
