Someone increased the database size of the tempdb to 42 gig. The file is now 42 gig. This is the mdf. How to we reduce, or create a new one!
 
Restart the SQL Server, that would recreate TempDB.

I tried this, but did not work. The tempdb properties are set to 42,960 under the Space allocation, and I can't change that.
