My Temporary Internet Files get deleted automatically. I do't want this to happen. I had the software "Wintools" which doing this & I already uninstalled that. But still this happen. I have set 300MB to store temp internet files. Please tell me how can I save these Temp files in the future without get deleted automatially.

In IE, Tools, Internet Options, Advanced
Scroll down to the Security subsection, and uncheck "Empty Temporary Internet files folder when browser is closed"

The default internet explorer setting is to Empty Temporary Internet files when browser is closed. To change it in the Internet properties, Advanced tab you would need to uncheck that option.

Question along these lines, I am trying to write a batch that deletets those files, however it never works, no error returns. I am new to scripting but I have been told that this cannot be scripted. Any ideas?

It most certainly can be scripted, the most common problem is that there is an instance of IE open. With any IE open the critical index files are not available.

This has led some brave souls to write .inf files as one approach, but assuming no other problems, asking through Internet Options, Advanced, for IE to remove the files on exit (discussed above) does work.
