Hello. I'm just checking, but is it usually OK to delete files from C:\Windows\Temp? From my understanding these are just temporary files the pc writes to the C: during various processes and don't need to reuse them. Could someone please confirm or correct me on this??

Correct, but start the machine in DOS-mode,
(not DOS-prompt) before deleting, to be safe.

I've always deleted as many of them as i can (in Windows) by just selecting them all and hitting DELETE. The ones left over are usually currently in use (proberbly by outlook i.e. Word).
Close all apps and then you should be able to get rid of all of them.

Hope that helps !

Thanks guys for your reassurance!!
