How do I know wich size the tempdb must be ?
Is it possible to monitor the usage of the tempdb ?

--Not sure but I think it is internall also as for creating work tables for 'sort by' queries.

How do I know wich size the tempdb must be ?
--Genrally, 10% of size of database.

Is it possible to monitor the usage of the tempdb ?
--Do you need to monitor free space? Whenever it goes
full, sp_thersholdaction is invoked.

tempdb is a database that is used by Sybase for storing
temporary tables and intermediate results in a complex query.
It is shared by all databases in the system. You rarely refer to it
directly.
