Teminating IP Extension to KX-TES824 as analog Trunk

Hello Gents,

He is a client with a rather strange requirement.

This is a international NGO with several branch offices in different countries where they have remote IP Extensions.
The main system is seated in Ireland.
Locally, the client has an Analog system - KX-TES824.

The said IP Extension sits in Branch directors office. He would like that in his absence, the call is routed to the Operator's phone (Ext101) connected on the KX-TES824

Just wondering if there is someway to translate this IP Extension to Analog and connect to the CO Line port of the KX-TES824.

Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

1- if your ip ext is sip you can use voip gateway for convert that to analog ext you can see on bottom an example device for do....

2-if your ip ext is h323 you should use h323 gateway for convert thatr to analog see example on bottom

The AG198 is like Grandstream HT-701?

Both have a single LAN/WAN port.

How would you keep the Original IP Extension in place.

Is there a standard telephone connected to the ata box. If so the lead to that phone can plug into line port of the system and it will keep the number. If it is a sip phone then you would have to swap it for a ata and get the settings from head office

OBT it's a SIP Phone and there is no ATA connected to it instead it plugs in to the switch direct

If this are sip you use any voip gate way just support sip etc... Newrack. Atcom. Hanlong. Grandstream. Sangoma. Digium ......

as inlsp0x said,it is sip, so you could set it up as an ata and connect it to the Panasonic system.
all you need is the userid, password and reg ip of remote system.

is there a vpn on site back to head office
