Hi folks!

Somebody knows about how to configure telnet to provide information about the system, before u provide login and password?? Is it possible?

Thanks a lot!

If you are talking about when a person logs into the server via 'telnet'. You can create a file in /etc called 'issue'. The /etc/issue file is an ASCII file read by getty. Do a man on issue on your box and you will get the information you need.
