Hello, i've tried several programs including the "telnet-tls" supplied with the phone system and I cannot seem to get past a variety of TLS/SSL errors.

Anyhow does anyone know of a decent terminal program that can connect to the SX200?

Thanks!!

Jim

What software and system type?

On an ICP with current software you can use the web interface.

On an ELx with Ltw19 or older you'll never get the telnet software to work.

Use HyperTerminal - works for ICP or TDM variants with no issues.

Hi, yes it does have the web interface, but i'd prefer to use telnet. I'm not sure of the version, but i know it can support telnet and tls or ssl as it gives me tls error.

The ICP does support Telnet, but the older TDM version of the SX-200 do not.

On your PC, when connecting to the ICP, what command are you issuing in the Mitel supplied (**supported**)?

It should be in the form:
O <IP ADDRESS OF ICP> 2000

NOTE: the above leading O is a letter and not a zero.

Hi, ok the system is a:

SX-200_ICP_4.0.0.17

This is the output i get:

Telnet-tels Version 1.0.0.2

It seems once the shell is restarted, I am just stuck at the prompt.

I can type help for some telnet help, but can't seem to gain access to the PBX

Thanks!

Jim

Well, that would certainly explain why i've been having these issue - not sure where i got 2002 from, but using 2000 works perfectly!

Thanks!!

Jim
