Hey

Can i do a skript that takes telnet connection to another server and puts login and passwd there. Something like rlogin does, but i can't use rlogin to that server.

telnet server2 => and when the other server asks login and passwd, the skript would do it without user knowing (or seeing them)

i have scounix 3.2v5.0.4.

Aarne,

You need to use the 'expect' package to do this. Mike

Is that a haiku?
I never could get the hang
of writing those things.

To do this sort of thing, I've used Perl with the Net-Telnet module.

Hey
Thanks, i'm sorry to say but i'm not familiar with 'expect' package. How do you use it and does it work in open server 5 (5.0.4).

thanks anyway
