Telnet into S8300 P330 Stack Processor? 1

Im having some difficulties figuring out how to telnet into the P330 stack processor. Is anybody familiar with this process.

What difficulties are you having? Assuming that the stack has an IP address that can be successfully pinged from your location, you should be able to telnet to the stack IP.

and if not, aand if yo do not have an ip address and you do not know how to figure it out, you can connect to the terminal port on the G700. Its a normal serial cajun connection.
 
You can also hook up a sniffer such as Ethereal to Ext1 or Ext2 and monitor the hosts. This will give you the IP addresses of the 8300, P300, MGP, and VOIP module.
 
Well I iniated a telnet with the IP Address of the S8300 then did a cat /etc/hosts command and I do not see an IP address for the P330. Am I at the right location?

can you access the media gateway. type change media-gateway 1 and see what's the ip address.
Telnet to that ip address with root and your password and then type session stack. That should take you to the P330. Once in there, type show interface for your current settings.
