I have embedded a Flash 5 movie in my Access 2000 database as an introduction and I want it to tell Access when the movie has stopped playing so that it will close the form.

just try to set up a variable in the last frame of the flash movie..when the movie comes to that frame it will pass the variable to the access file..

using

loadVariablesNum("your.databasefile", 0, "POST");

and i'm guessing you set up the access file to recognize when it receives the variable to close the file..somehow..

not and expert in this matter but seems like that would be the way to do it..

Thanks for the help... I will fool around with that and see if I can get it to work...
