Can someone explain to me why teleworker doesn't work through a firewall and must be in a dmz. We were trying to set it up through a pix 515 but we get no audio. The phone can make and get calls but once the call is connected no audio either way. I know it is not supported but i was just want an explaination.

Thanks

It's on MOL. The new handset was in Orlando at the VoiceCON show. Mitel showed it with the new 5330 and 5340.

Well, now that I think about it, someone is using the NAVIGATOR to do some stuff - that could be it.

A typical trader turret phone has capacity for hundreds of lines, ARDs, speed call buttons, dual handsets w/push-to-mute function, multiple shout-down (hoot-n-holler) positions, etc. I don't know how much of that falls into the scope of the NAVIGATOR.

I know what a turret is. Think SOFTWARE. Everything can be done via a software app on the PC - perhaps a 19" wide screen

hi guys

Having some issues with teleworker in the following set up

uk 3300
checkpoint firewall
teleworker server mode

usa 3300
checkpoint firewall
teleworker sever mode

both 3300 are 6.x

both teleworkers servers are 6.1

In the same country the teleworkers work fine ..ie uk teleworker to uk desk phone and the same said for the usa.
Calls between desk phones in the usa and the uk are fine across the ip trunking set up via vpn on the check point firewalls.
Howerever if a teleworker home user calls a desk phone on the remote 3300....ie usa teleworker to uk teleworker they get 1 way audio and visa versa, the same goes for a home worker usa to home worker uk.
Im led to belive this is a nat issue ,just wondering if anyone has the same sort of set up and could offer some advice. As mt routing knowlage is not great.
i have some traces of the checkpoint packet flow that i can make available if anyone can help

regards

dean
