I am a problem with a teleworker phone which you can ring but there is no audio when the user picks up it. The phone is registered on the teleworker server.

I have read that I need to add his network address to the "Local Networks" in the security side of the server. I have tried a number of times but it fails every time with the following message
"Error: Network (devrived from the network and subnet mask) has already been added. Did not add new network"

I have checked the server but can not find this network anywhere on the server. The only address that is on the server is the teleworkers phone address.

Does anyone how to resolve this problem, my hair cant take it any more.

Need to know if this is a Server Only (DMZ) install or Server and Gateway (Dual Ethernet Connection).

One way or No Way Audio is almost always a gateway issue. The local network needs to be added when the teleworker set is on a different local subnet than the controller (3300?)

The Gateway setting in the TW server may be wrong or the one handed out to the phone may be wrong or both.

The teleworker server is setup in Server mode on the LAN. The TW can connect to the other ICPs OK. Single NIC.

I am trying to add the network of the teleworker to the Tw server but this failing with the described results in the first thread.

Server only mode requires the system to be installed in a DMZ on the customers Firewall (Hardware Port).

Is this how it is set up?

Hello I have now resolved the issue after alot of messing around.

I found out first that when I sync'd the server with Mitel that the server was not licenced. That was soon resolved at a few phone calls. I then reloaded the server onsite but still had the same issue. i took the server back to our office and setup a test bench replicating the customers network. Once again rebuilt the server and would you adam and eve it it worked.

I put the server back to the customers site and added a tested phone and the phone worked with no problems. Removed this phone and added the customers remote phone for Shanghai. It connected and again this worked.

So after all this I am still unsure as to the original problem. Possible server software corruption or licencing or both. Anyway back p and working. Thanks all for your advise on this problem
