Hello Team.
Can someone explain how to utilise the 4 teleworker licenses that come with the essentials upgrade?

According to the description :
. An Essential Edition license provides 4 remote worker seats. Customers requiring additional seats will need to purchase the Teleworker solution.

BUT
in system i cannot see any teleworker licenses even in virtual format. So how to use these 4 given with the essential?
what users should i enable and what software can he/she use? on Mobile, iPad , laptop etc.

Thanks

Nikos

The way that reads to me is that up to 4 users can be remote worker without requiring a teleworker license. If you need more than 4 remote workers you will need to purchase teleworker licenses.

So try connecting remote with the basic license.

Yes you can have 4 remote. Workers without remote worker licence.
But you will need an IP endpoint licence For each of the remote IP phones.

thanks
if i order power user will he require ip endpoint too?

Nikos

Yes. Power user covers all the worker licences but not endpoint licences.

So
i can have 4 remote Workers without remote worker licence because of the essentials license.
But i need an IP endpoint licence For each of the remote IP phones if the device is an Avaya IP Phone.

If i use IX application on iPhone or android what license do i need?
the idea is to have remote users on laptop or mobile application over VPN and have VoIP connectivity to the IPO.

Thanks

Nikos

Couple things here:

When the connection is made over VPN it is NOT considered a remote worker. Remote Worker applies when you are connecting over the open internet and you port forward from a firewall/SBC to the IPO. So if you are connecting over VPN all you need is IP endpoint for each phone.

As stated earlier you are allowed 4 Remote Workers on a system (2x on R8.0, and none before that) before needing teleworker/poweruser licenses. You still need an IP Endpoint on top of the user license. Simply checking Remote Worker under a user applies the 4 free licenses. After that you will need to change the user to poweruser or teleworker before you will be able to check Remote Worker.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.
