Telecommuter Issue

If I dial my PBX and come in on the DID trunk , follow a prompt to dial my extension, my call will telecommute to my remote coverage extension with no problem. Same situation, but come in via. toll free number, the call fails and I get a message from the local carrier that the call can't be completed and then it routes to my 2nd coverage point which is voicemail.

Any ideas?

maybe the 800 trunk is not set up to allow the call to be controller by the pbx, but keeping the control in the network?
