Colleagues,

I know this is off subject, but I just had a company propose that we allow them to look at our phone bills for the past 5 years to audit them for billing errors.

They would then request a refund on our behalf and be paid 50% of the refund once we get it.

Has anyone done this? I don't like the fact that they want a letter of authorization to request the bills from the telcos.

Any thoughts?

Best Regards,

Chris Dawson

There are several companies out there that do this. I have talked to numerous companies who have saved a considerable amount of money and I have talked to some who got very little, but all they lost was some time.

Do you have a company in mind or are you looking for some recommendations?

You may also want to look at a product called WinBill which does a lot of the auditing for you.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Thanks,

Jaube
