Tekronix Phaser 350 1

Can anyone tell me if there is any difference between the inks sticks that are used in the Phaser350 and inks used in other Tekronix solid ink printers, (apart from the shape)

can wax ink for the Tektronix 850 and other tektronix solid inks be used in a Phaser 350, is there a difference in the wax that is used, is the melt time different????

The ink stick in a phaser 340/350/360 are the same and based on natural wax. for the 840 and 850 the wax is based on part natural and a part synthetic wax, and for the 860 and 8200 is fully synthetic wax. So it seems that the ink for an 850 is not fith for an 350. Interchange ink between printers is never recommended, there is always a difference. example, The ink for 840 and 850 seems the same, can be used in these printers but the amound of color in the ink sticks is different. The yellow inkstick from an 840 will not be yellow but more like orange in an 850. Printhead will not be broken but colors are not the same. Greetz Dany

Thanks, Dany, I've already melted wax into the printer, but never tried to print anything, will I need to wait until all the wax in the printhead has been used, before it will print the proper colours, I have now got the correct ink sticks but have not yet loaded them, what do you suggest?
