Hi

Simple one - For an IP-TDM call, eg an IP endpoint to a TDM trunk, or vice versa, how many TDM time slots will be used on the PN?

Are 2 timeslots required here, or just one?

Thanks

Hi

is anyone able to help with this please? ...sorry if its a silly question....

Is the 241 simultaneous calls per port network a tdm-tdm limit, or does it also apply to ip-tdm (my assumption is that maybe ip-tdm only needs 1 timeslot and 1 DSP resource?

Thanks

TDM bus calls for each PN require a listen and a talk time-slot for each connection on the call. Medpro converts to IP and uses DSP resources based on the type codec(s) used for the IP endpoints.

Thanks

So for music/announcement - only 1 would be required (i.e listen only?)

announcements and music, depending on load and location in PNs will add calls to the same listen time-slot.
