Setting up a new single G650/S8400 on ACM 5.0
All is OK, except no TDM cards are recognised by the system (Disp Circ or List Config all etc.)
IP Cards - Medpro, CLAN, VAL are OK, and so is TN771 Maint card - all are showing up.
No alarms in system.

Get 2 aborts (1005 code) with test Tdm-bus port-xxx but see this on working G650's also.

Any ideas???

Yes, both terminators. 8400 has latest patch loaded, same wth IPSI and other IP cards.
Tried 3 different cards, different slots etc, all the obvious, but obviously missing something.

Did you enable IP port network control?

"change sys ips"

stroke it to "y", save the form

Yes this is set correctly.
Went ahead and got IA770 up and running, so VoIP OK.

Have manually reset the SIPI and re-programmed for static IP, still no change.

you do have the paddle board inserted correctly to address it to Cabinet A, and of course you have checked it? :)

You might just have a bad SIPI or a defective backplane, if everything else has been tried.

Problem turned out be the License file location setting, was set to US, so wouldn't recognise Europe boards. Silly mistake, hopefully learned and not forgotten....

you didn't say you had "BCS" or "B load" cards (TN2214, TN2464, TN2793, etc). If you had given us that tidbit of information, I would have told you to change the "location" field in the license to "2" :)
