We have successfully setup IAX trunks between asterisk and 3CX but have no experience with the TDE200. I assume this is possible and would appreciate any advice or comments.

Client wants to
.1 make intercom calls from one system to the other
.2 forward calls from one system to the other (both directions)
.3 make calls to clients in Mexico from one system (in Canada) through the system in Mexico
The goal is to save on call cost and provide local presence.

3CX was another project where we used IAX which I believe is the same as SIP Peering
Asterisk in Canada
KX-TDE200 in Mexico

Okay, I did a similar thing but did it this way - used the two below

Get two Grandstream GXW-4008
And two Grandstream GXW41008

But this depends on the trunk cards/trunk type that you have either side.

Any cards on the Asterisks?, and what trunk cards do you have on TDE200. Any analog extensions?

Panasonic does not support IAX trunks, only plain SIP can be used so no additional features like on a IAX trunk.

Panasonic takes analog trunks and SIP Trunks.

I used SIP peering with the GXWs and Analogs on the Panasonic.

The Panasonic behind GXWs. It works great

Thank you.
We will work with the TDE admin to set up a SIP trunk.
