TDA 100 Extensions busy when intercomed

I hope somebody has experienced this problem and has the solution.
Here is what happens when intercoming an extension
it shows busy in the display but when you press the wait
key on the phone that your intercoming from the call immediately goes through.

(Example)
say I'm intercoming from ext 206 to 258 I will hear a busy signal on 206 when no one is on the phone at 258
when I push the wait button on extension 206 the call immediately goes through to extension 258
This only happens on one extension. Has anyone experienced this? I'm assuming that it must be something in programming

Yes I have ran into that problem I'm sure it's something simple. I didn't have time to wait on the phone for tech support
so, what I did was I reassigned that extension to another port
Then everything worked as normal

have you tried to re set the extenion *790 this will remove any user settings then try same .
it could well be a setting the phone

Sounds like Extn set for DND and you have DND override set on the phone you are using
