can i update the tda 100 if i plug out da OBP and then plug in back becausei dont get it with the disa thing???

ok so i ill try my best.
i need to update the pbx because the new generation phones need it,and i dont want to loose the disa, i was thinking that if i just take out the obp and make the update without the obp will it work? i will loose the disa setings?
