As I've mentioned in my stupid questions before, I inherited this phone system, so changing things normally takes some work, but this is driving me nuts. We have a line that when somebody calls it, it goes to 3 different phones, and I can't figure out how to add another phone. Seems to me it has something to do with the fact that trunk line is in Group No. 3, but I can't find anywhere where it specifies who is in that group and/or how to add another extension to that group.

Any help would be great.

Thanks!

It’s easy you see at programming software
Programming
1- Configuration
1-3 Extinction port assignment
You will see table of extinctions at Group No. column you will notes that the three numbers in same group number.
You can add any extinction to this group.

Sorry extension

and i will rebet

That makes sense, but it doesn't seem like it is setup that way (can you think of any other way this might be working?) .. every extension (not just the 3 that right to that #) are in the same group (1) .

Ugh!

Thanks for the help.

Don't see anything there defining anything either...
Let me just list everything I've seen so Far..

1-2 Trunk Port Assignment
The port that line comes into is set to Group No. 3

1-3 Extension Port Assignment
All 3 people who currently ring when the # is called are in Group No. 1 (as is everybody else in the system)

3-1 Trunk Group
For Group No. 3, both Day and Night Intercept Destination are the extension linked to the voicemail box people get when they call that # and nobody answers.

That seems to be all the important things I can find in here right now..anywhere else I should be looking for clues on how this is working?

I don't see anything like that anywhere? Not sure I understand.

do you have the manual for the system
i just saw it in programing guide.

what rev of firmware is on the system?
DIL 1:N Group n most likely stands for 3 in your case
