Hello all, I haven't attempted to duplicate this problem in a while, but here's the problem:

Whenever I share files over a LAN connection to other fellow LAN users (100Mbps Full Duplex) a memory dump occurs on my machine within seconds. The user that was connected has to reboot their system (locks up). I can access other shared resources on the LAN just fine and it doesn't affect me then. All of us are using Windows 2000 SP1. I tried installing SP2, but it didn't make a difference.

The exact error message referred to a problem with tcpip.sys in the memory dump blue screen. Found nothing helpful at microsoft's knowledgebase (though one suggestion there was to install SP2).

Any Ideas?

Have you tried 1.)removing TCP/IP and reinstalling protocol, as well as client for MS Networks and reinstalling client. Else would suggest 2.)removing all protocols and clients then NIC from Device manager and installing with most recent drivers. After reinstall problem should be fixed. Best of Luck -md
