TCP port check

Hi guys

how can I check specific port if it is used or not and for those who are familiar with Whats up do you have any idea how can I check Crystal Report or MQ-series and so on ,Thank you in advance ??

You can use the netstat utility to find out what TCP ports are being used. I'm not sure about WhatsUp. I've only used ServersAlive and SiteScope.

Thank you for the response I think the same procedure both product use if you have crystal report server or seagate info or MQ-Series or whatever app server in your network can you give me the trick to configure these kind of apps.
