The help files that come with the ActiveState download are, in my opinion, excellent. The download also includes a set of demo files that are great examples of using the widgets (code is available and copiable).
Just to clarify Breadcrust's comment, in case people are unaware, Scriptics was acquired by another company 3 years ago, which discontinued support for all Tcl-related products and services. A shame, because I'd happily still be working there otherwise.
But the new, canonical URL for the Tcl Developer's Xchange is
which provides several very nice Tcl development tools, as well as a free "batteries-included" binary distribution of Tcl for several platforms. (And no, I don't get a dime in compensation for the plug.) But now that the tcl.tk domain exists, it can be maintained sepately from a particular company, and so that's the link that should be propagated everywhere.
Another excellent online resource is the Tcl'ers Wiki,
a collaboratively-edited repository of Tcl tips, tricks, wisdom, and links. It's actually the first place I turn these days to try to track down Tcl-related information.

Avia Training and Consulting,
site. And I'm pretty sure that the company that acquired Scriptics won't be renewing the domain when it expires. At that time, it'll probably be snapped up by one of the countless domain name squatters who'll either try to sell it, or (more likely) redirect it to an online porn site. Best to get in the habit of using the approved and supported URL.
