Hi all,
My taskbar has recently missing. I didn't remember what I was doing before, but everything was ok until one day the taskbar went missing and message box popped out saying "Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and will close now". I suspect there's something going on with file explorer.exe. I tried to copy original explorer.exe and explorer.scf from Windows XP Pro CD-ROM, but nothing happens. I think I couldn't replace those 2 files because the original files from CD-ROM were 300KB in size, whereas the files in my C:\Windows were about 1MB in size. Are those files really affecting the taskbar or do I miss something here? Is there any other way to solve my problem?
Thanks.
