Everything I've read says that Target="_blank" will open the link in a new window in Netscape. However, when I try it Netscape 7.2 it opens in the main window, and doesn't allow me to go back to the previous one.

Am I nuts?

Do you have tabs? It may be that you are opening it in a new tab.

Alternatively, it may be something to do with a DOCTYPE... For example, "target=" is no longer valid when using XHTML strict, so it may be that if you have this as your DOCTYPE, then NN won't let you do it.

Hope this helps,
Dan

Thanks! This was very helpful I don't use Netscape, so I was a little confused.

Thanks again!
