Target line appearance

How do I get the receptionist to answer her bosses target line and the boses line appearance indicator stays solid with privacy off so he is able to press his targrt line button to get the call or listen in. I could do this with POTS lines but target lines don't seem to work.

I know its not possible but they claim it worked before. I up graded them they had BRI trunks now I installed 2 PRI's now they claim that his line appreance disappers when she answers his call and she has to transer the call to him.

target lines cannot have 'bridged appearances' bcos it is not an actual line
maybe SWCA might solve their problem

If I send the caller ID using another means, can the caller ID cards answer calls like the DID cards?

The VoIP network we have can send caller ID.
